Tri-CoGo Reaches 10,000 Subscribers, Marking Major Milestone for Rural Broadband Effort

Tri-CoGo today announced it has surpassed 10,000 subscribers as of September 22, 2025, demonstrating the company’s rapid momentum since its formation in 2021. The internet service provider (ISP) has grown at a sustained pace of 1.5% to 2.5% per month, placing it by percentage growth among Georgia’s fastest‑growing ISPs.

Founded in 2021, Tri-CoGo connected its first customer in September 2021 using a 100% fiber network built by Tri-County EMC. That network now spans 1,500+ miles, delivering reliable, high‑speed internet to homes and businesses across the eight-county service area, which includes Jones, Putnam, and Baldwin Counties.

“Passing 10,000 subscribers is a meaningful vote of confidence from the communities we serve,” said Greg Mullis, Chief Operating Officer of Tri-CoGo. “We are deeply grateful for the trust our neighbors have placed in us. This milestone reflects the dedication of our employees who show up every day to build a rock‑solid fiber network and deliver outstanding customer service. Their commitment to reliability and responsiveness is the reason Tri-CoGo is thriving.”

In July 2025, Tri-CoGo recorded a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 91 based on the latest customer satisfaction survey. The NPS metric is derived from the standard question: “On a scale of 0 to 10, how likely are you to recommend Tri-CoGo to a friend or colleague?”

A score of 91 places Tri-CoGo in elite company. A recent study by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) found that large legacy telco internet providers averaged an NPS of -3, reflecting widespread customer dissatisfaction. By contrast, Tri-CoGo’s score is comparable to those of the world’s most beloved brands, such as Apple, Tesla, or Netflix, all of which typically report NPS ratings in the 60s to 70s. Surpassing even those benchmarks demonstrates the exceptional level of trust and advocacy Tri-CoGo has earned from its customers.

The success of Tri-CoGo is best told through the words of its customers. Comments from the recent survey included, “Tri-CoGo has been an extremely amazing addition to our home,” commented a Jones County customer. “We enjoy the amazing service, the affordable prices, and the superior customer support.”

“The service from the start has met and exceeded my expectations,” said a Putnam County subscriber. Tri-CoGo has been way better than any other internet service provider in this area, by far.”

Tri-CoGo will continue to expand its 100% fiber network, with new areas opening in Jones and Putnam Counties in the next few weeks, including downtown Gray. The company’s plans prioritize extending service to underserved neighborhoods and business corridors, with construction in several new areas scheduled over the next year.
